Search Engine Optimization (SEO) has been around since the beginning stages of the internet, and it has been proven to be a harbinger for website growth. The proof is in the statistics - Google alone gets close to 78,000 searches from all around the world for every second, and this doesn’t even include other search engines like Bing, Yahoo, and the one more than a billion Chinese use - Baidu. and there are also other engines such as Bing. Research also reveals that organic traffic from search engines get better results for businesses as opposed to paid search ads, because search engine users have gotten smarter and avoid ads that appear on search engine results pages (SERPs) altogether. SEO rankings can be improved in various ways, but the top driver was, is, and always will be content. After all, websites are made up of content. As there are all sorts of different content types, business owners who want to have better SEO results and their website administrators need to be aware of which content type would simultaneously make their websites rank high on SERPs and be appealing to their target audience. Great content would be something that would check all of Google’s (and other search engines’) boxes and would be consumed and shared with a wider audience, which also results in an SEO rankings boost. Let’s see what these content types are so you can consider which of them you could use for your business. Blog Posts As the most common type of content, blogs have become every business’ content bread and butter. Aside from being easy to produce (all you’ll have to do is have a writer produce posts that are relevant to you business or write them yourself, keeping mind SEO guidelines), properly written blog posts provide readers (i.e., your audience and thus, your potential audience) relevant information about your business. Thus, these posts engage them while attracting new readers and possibly new customers. In turn, this could boost your SEO rankings and ultimately grows your business. Blogging can come in many forms - You can have reviews, lists, opinion pieces, and you can even have other people (ideally industry authorities) write posts as guest bloggers for yours, vice versa. You don’t only get valuable content with the last option, you also build relationships with others in the industry that can also increase your website’s authority with the backlinks you get and jack up your site’s SEO rankings.
Videos As internet experts have become more knowledgeable about the behavior of its users, they have discovered that visual content such as video has become increasingly preferred. Consumption of videos has reached all-time highs and has been known to be effective, but the difficulty in producing them has become a stumbling block for more businesses to spend more effort on this content type. To address this issue, there are some videos that can be actually produced with minimal efforts, like tutorials, explainer videos to introduce your product, Facebook or Instagram Stories featuring influencers and your product or service, and the like.
Long-Form Content Apart from blog posts, long-form content has also proven their worth as effective content types that can help your SEO efforts. Unlike blog posts that tend to be informative in their shortness, long-form content tends to tackle topics in an in-depth manner, this making them a bit more resource-intensive. But then, long-form content is also a better strategy to get more backlinks and social media shares. The more backlinks you have, the chances of getting more people to chance upon your site is higher. So, try to check on content such as your annual reports and whitepapers for this.
Infographics Aside from long-form content, another content type to consider when you are going for credibility, authority, and establishing more relationships with other businesses is infographics. The effort needed to produce this content will be a combination of data collection and graphic presentation. Users appreciate infographics a lot because content presented through text can be boring for some people, and infographics, with its graphic elements, can make everything more understandable and attention-grabbing. Just make sure that the data your infographics contain is well-researched and the graphic elements have to be appreciated by your target audience.

The article Getting the Most out of GMB Find more on: www.allsystemsgomarketing.com from https://www.allsystemsgomarketing.com/hvac-seo/getting-the-most-out-of-gmb La Mesa, California based digital marketing company All Systems Go Marketing is pleased to announce that they have published a blog post detailing the factors that influence an SEO ranking. The company has focused on working for, and partnering with, small to mid-sized businesses since 1999. Since 2015, they have exclusively been providing their services to HVAC companies. Craig Wright, a representative for All Systems Go Marketing, says, “Do you remember when search engine optimization, or SEO, just meant publishing lots of articles with your targeted keywords present in every other sentence—just jammed in there with no rhyme or reason? As cringeworthy as that thought is, it really wasn’t that long ago when most company blogs and websites would be filled with content of questionable quality that did not have a lot of substance. Despite this inferior quality, most companies still pinned their hopes on this kind of content, expecting their search engine rankings to be on the high end.” He continues, “While that approach may have worked at one point, those strategies have zero chance of working these days. SEO has since evolved into a dynamic combination of precise science and instructive art. Digital and online marketers are now required to understand the factors that directly affect rankings in search engines, prioritize the intent of search engine users and publish only content that attracts both users and search engine algorithms with high quality and value. This means that you need to keep certain SEO ranking factors on your mind when you work on your website or blog.” The company explains in their blog post that the first SEO ranking factor to consider is the fact that ‘Content is King.’ As All Systems Go Marketing points out, that line turned from expert opinion to a commandment in 2011 when Google rolled out Panda, its brand new algorithm update. With the update, Google declared that, from then on, content would be the primary factor they will consider when ranking websites. Any piece of content published online, no matter what form it took, required depth on a specific topic and had to be written well in addition to providing value to the person reading it. The second aspect to keep in mind has to do with the links contained within the website or blog and whether or not they work. All Systems Go Marketing explains that where it was once the quantity of links that mattered, it is all about quality today, with particular emphasis on each link’s relevance and meaning. In the blog post, the company writes, “After all, search engines have also utilized link ranking, a method of ranking links where their relevance and popularity are measured accurately. Thus, practitioners of old habits, like stuffing links to their sites for the sole purpose of having an inflated number of links, can suffer from link rot.” The final factor that the company promotes is the website’s structure. The blog post reads, “With most SEO efforts exerted on researching and targeting the best keywords, other considerations such as the structure of the website take a backseat. However, it should be noted that website structure should not be ignored, as it greatly affects SEO. But to be clear, a website’s structure is not about how it is designed or how it appears physically, but rather on how its individual pages are arranged and inked. The organization of the pages should be in a way that must make it easy for both Google (and other search engines) and users to navigate the website. Site structure also includes the structure of your pages’ URL, as events such as renaming, rebranding or site revamp or migration can affect this.” More information can be found on the full blog post. Wright says, “In the modern digital marketing landscape, it’s very important that you have well optimized websites if you want your business to have any real chance of succeeding. With All Systems Go Marketing’s help, your HVAC business can reach new heights of success.” Those who want to learn more about All Systems Go Marketing and the various services they provide can find more information on the company’s website. In addition to their website, All Systems Go Marketing maintains a presence on Facebook where they frequently post updates, share media and communicate with their customers. source https://www.pressadvantage.com/story/35329-all-systems-go-marketing-sheds-light-on-seo-ranking-factors Since most businesses and most customers have found common ground in being online, it is no surprise that online marketing has become an effective manner of not just putting your brand out for everyone to notice, but actually attract customers who are ready to spend. But then, since the largest businesses were expectedly the first ones to adopt strategies to be more effective in this field, the reputation of online marketing as something exclusive for big business was born. However, small businesses, take note: It’s actually the opposite. Online marketing can be used by new businesses and those that don’t have a lot of resources to level the playing field, so to speak. Online marketing doesn’t really require a huge initial financial investment, which should make it a good tool for small businesses. Sure, there are strategies that require a large amount of funding to implement, but there are also ways that small businesses can use their limited resources and yet gain substantial results. It is essential though, to have a good grasp of available opportunities in online marketing so that you, as a small business can see which of these opportunities suit you and your available resources. Here are some concepts that hold true for anyone wanting to engage in online marketing, big business or small: Time is of the essence, especially on how fast your site loads Consumers online have been spoiled in everything, especially in the areas of choices and speed. Web users expect and demand everything to happen in seconds, if not automatically. If there is something your small business should work on to be effective in online marketing, make speed a priority. To fulfill your customer’s expectations and needs in the amount of time they are accustomed to, your website’s system needs to be reliably fast. Also, it doesn’t hurt that fast websites get ranked high by Google, everybody’s reliable search engine.
Do you have an app? Apps have become a must for every business these days. Having it allows you to have everything housed on one platform, including an option to sell your goods or service. Moreover, people these days prefer to use apps instead of surfing the internet. If you want to give customers the easiest way to reach you, then an app is currently the most effective method. If your business still hasn’t joined the app bandwagon, then it may be high time for you to consider it.
SEO is still a must As a company taking its first steps in online marketing, having a good understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) is an absolute requirement. You can utilize the expertise of SEO specialists, but since you’re a small business, you may not have the financial resources to pay for his/her expertise. Thus, you need to really have a grasp of this as a small business owner. Also, you need to realize that for e-commerce, your SEO efforts need to result in more customers actually buying your product or service, not just with more people visiting your website.
Use the data available It is very important that you analyze your website’s data. Knowing how to read your website’s data will allow you to see how your brand has progressed so that moving forward, you’ll know how to fit your digital marketing strategies to the current state of your brand. Start with Google Analytics, as this tool will aid you in getting all the data you need so you can understand your website’s performance. With this information, it is hoped that you can understand your customers better and strategize better to get their attention more.

Online Marketing: The First Steps is courtesy of www.allsystemsgomarketing.com from https://www.allsystemsgomarketing.com/hvac-seo/online-marketing-the-first-steps With business sites applauding the benefits of SEO, it doesn’t come as a surprise that even those that don’t have much of an online marketing budget are investing resources just to be part of the craze. However, the truth is, not all SEO practices are good for your website. There re those that deliberately circumvent rules and norms of SEO just to get a leg up in rankings, otherwise known as “black hat” SEO practices. Then, there are also practices that people are not 100% sure if they are helpful or not, but since they are SEO practices, they are being implemented in the hopes that they turn out to be beneficial. The alarming thing is that most businesses may gauge the performances of their websites by estimations and gut feel. When they see their site generating sales, they might be on the right track to “good SEO’. If their site is underperforming and doesn’t appear on search engine results, that should mean that they are practicing “bad SEO,” right? There is a possibility for that, but in order to right whatever is wrong in your website, you should really dig deeper and base your learnings on facts, not on gut feel. To truly assess how healthy your SEO program is, use tried and tested methods. Why not try SEO platforms? Enterprise SEO platforms like Searchmetrics, Ahrefs, and seoClarity have the tools to swiftly and more or less accurately evaluate your site’s SEO performance. Using data from multiple sources, you will be presented with an analysis of your website’s SEO health. You may have to invest substantial funds as these platforms sure aren’t that affordable.
Appreciate analytics A plethora of web analytics software such as Google Analytics and Adobe can present you with key performance indicators of your SEO efforts, such as revenue, traffic, and of course, traffic. There is a direct relation between SEO KPIs and website SERP, so you might as well consider the information these analytic software staples provide.
Google’s Search Console Google’s Search Console can provide you with a report that accurately tells you of your site’s clicks, rankings, and impressions Search Console also produces reports for other factors such as server errors, sitemaps, indexation, and structured data, among others. You might think it’s a bit restrictive since the data is based on Google, but then, since Google drives a staggering majority of organic search traffic on sites, then you can rely on the data the tool provides.
Look into Google Ads Finally, Google Ads can give you a reliable diagnosis of your website’s SEO health. Link your Google Ads account to Search Console and you will get reports for paid ads and organic listings. Just be mindful of the overlap of paid or PPC data and organic SEO data, as the former may not be applicable (and can sometimes be downright confusing) for those who just want data on the latter.

Find more on: ASGM Blog from https://www.allsystemsgomarketing.com/hvac-seo/is-your-sites-seo-healthy The past two years, particularly 2019, has seen the phenomenal rise in popularity of voice as a way of searching. People have slowly but surely started embracing anything voice-activated, from using voice search on their mobile devices to trusting voice assistants such as Alexa and Siri for just about anything. So while the web user of the 2000s would be familiar with a page containing ten results that would have titles in blue and URLs in green, the web user of the year 2020 will see results in more varied shapes, with his or her intent, what gadget he or she is using, his or her location, and many other factors affecting how he or she sees the search engine result pages. With the rising complexity of technology and the sophistication of those using it, search engines are hot on their trails, making sure that they adapt to both users and technology. With searchers now getting more mobile, on the go and hands-free, it is expected that search engines will surely step on something that these three factors have in common - voice. Voice search: Striking while the iron is hot? Considering that voice search only exploded in popularity in the past couple of years, the pace of its growth can be described as staggering. Close to 59% of American consumers admit to using voice search in 2019, according to Comscore, but only close to 12% of businesses are on Alexa, and the adoption of brands to Google Assistant is lower. Thus, it can still be said that voice apps are still in their infancy stages for businesses, but already on its steady incline for users. So, shouldn’t your business be an early adaptor to this?
Kinks yet to be ironed out Of course, before getting your business into this voice search craze, you have to get an understanding of how it works. Once a voice-activated search pushes through, the search engine turns it into a written query. Although the process can be quite smooth since the topical queries get linked in logical fashion, search engines can get “stuck” with a query when the voice owner (aka the searcher) uses vernacular, has a particular accent or different speech pattern, so the best answers to the searcher’s query may not be offered.
It’s a great time to join the voice bandwagon As voice search is a trending topic and has proven to have a massive impact on how people get access to information they need, it might really be high time for businesses to get into this field, not necessarily to be part of voice assistant apps as mentioned earlier (although we also advised that businesses already look into it), but for digital marketers to invest effort into optimizing their content so that they are friendly for voice searches.
Less clicks, more alarm for businesses Voice searches are contributing a lot to the rise in popularity of click-less searches. By using your voice, you don’t have to click anything to type in your query and you’ll be presented with the results on your gadget’s screen. Since a lot of businesses rely a lot on Google for leads, they should get on understanding this trend and see how they can join and benefit from it.

Find Search Success With Your Voice is courtesy of ASGM Blog from https://www.allsystemsgomarketing.com/hvac-seo/find-search-success-with-your-voice La Mesa, California based All Systems Go Marketing acknowledged, in a recent blog post, the reality that Google and Facebook are undoubtedly the leading platforms for online marketing. While many consider these giants in the industry as ’sure wins,’ it should be noted that a potential contributor to a brand's success is its capability to be seen in other locations of the world wide web. The company points out that, despite these two sites being familiar (and rewarding to use at the same time), other platforms may lead to equal or even greater success in the field of digital marketing. Through their recently published blog post, they offer a number of Google alternatives that can effectively be utilized for online marketing and advertising. For instance, the marketing agency recommends Microsoft. Microsoft may be a household name when it comes to computers but this has not necessarily equated to the success of its online products. That being said, Microsoft advertising offers an easy-to-use system that does not differ too greatly from Google AdSense. By using Microsoft advertising, ads will also be displayed on popular search engines like Yahoo and AOL. Next, business owners can use Amazon since it is frequented by millions of people around the globe. Craig Wright of All Systems Go Marketing says, “The strong suit of Amazon is that it is the world's largest online retailer. If you have a business, Amazon is perfect if you want to sell your products as well as run ads on these products to distinguish yourself from the rest.” On the other hand, question and answer forums like Quora are generally far from what one may consider as a platform for online marketing, but businesses can advertise on Quora by running ads alongside questions that may be related to the business. Business owners may also consider AdRoll. AdRoll's main selling point is IntentMap, an AI algorithm that predicts data using trillions of intent data points. Here, potential shoppers are encouraged to convert from being online lurkers to actual shoppers and buyers. Finally, Taboola is great for digital marketing since it is a native advertising platform. It essentially promotes one's content on other blogs, making the ad look like the content of the website it is run on. The only caveat is that there is a disclaimer that the content is an ad, which might discourage a viewer from clicking the link. Wright points out that Google and Facebook are far from being the only choices when it comes to online marketing and digital advertising. While they are household names in the industry and are the focus of many SEO trends, it would not hurt to try out new platforms. These other platforms are more than capable of expanding the reach of a particular product, and each one has its own advantages and disadvantages. It is all a matter of choosing the right fit for one's needs. Choosing the right platform may be a daunting task but that need not necessarily be the case with the right partner. As noted in the blog post, if an HVAC business is interested in advertising outside Google and Facebook, All Systems Go Marketing is a one-stop-shop for all alternative online marketing needs. But then, these promises get fulfilled only when you do SEO and digital marketing right. Just doing them per se just because all other businesses do it and you need to be where the action is are not valid reasons, especially if you’re not doing them right. They will only be wasted resources on your part. So, if you are wondering why despite your efforts in SEO and digital marketing, you are not getting results, then the probability is high that there is something wrong about your current practices. But don’t worry, as a lot of businesses may have also fallen on the same trap of mistakes. So, try to check if you’ve done something wrong on the SEO and digital marketing front and see if you can find fixes to it (or them, if you’ve committed many errors).
Are you looking at the right metrics? One of the most common ways for businesses to gauge the effectiveness of their campaigns is through KPIs. But then, your KPIs may be based on metrics that are not really the most applicable or relevant to your business. If you commit that mistake, you could be wasting a lot of resources that don't convert into favorable results. For example, you may want more people responding to your emails. While clickthrough rates and resulting sales are must-tracks, open rates and clickthrough rates of landing pages get ignored. For local businesses, it should be more important to see local metrics instead of looking at worldwide metrics.
Are you not getting conversions even with high traffic? A lot of new businesses content themselves with their websites getting more visitors. However, having so many visitors on your site can only be ultimately beneficial if they actually convert from being visitors to consumers or buyers of the product or service you offer. So, if your traffic is experiencing gains but you don’t see any movement in your conversions, there might be some things that you need to look into. One of them is identifying these visitors, looking into what would trigger them to convert, and showing them how great your business is by establishing relationships with them.
Are you running the right campaigns on the wrong channel? Congratulations, you have successfully rolled out a campaign. But then, a week, two weeks, a month passes by, and you don’t see significant conversions. Why is that? Maybe you are running your campaign on a platform that your potential customers don’t use. If you don’t invest enough time to know your customers and what platforms and channels they use, you are putting your efforts at risk.
Are you facing impossible SEO competition? SEO has been implemented for years already, and if you’ve only been involved with it recently, it is highly likely that you’re a bit late to the party already, with a lot of your competition most probably ahead of you. Don’t worry too much, though, because now that you’ve acknowledged that there may be a few holes in your SEO strategy, you can work on fixing them.
Are you approaching online marketing with unrealistic expectations? When running an online marketing campaign, whether on social media, search engines or through email, one of the best things you can (and should do) is set realistic expectations. You owe it to yourself to set goals that are achievable and not be too lofty unless you want to set yourself to fail or you just want to lose your sanity. Balance your expectations with the number of resources you are planning to invest, otherwise, you are only setting yourself up for a whole world of disappointment.

Is There Something Wrong With Your Online Marketing Efforts? was first published on http://www.allsystemsgomarketing.com/ from https://www.allsystemsgomarketing.com/hvac-seo/is-there-something-wrong-with-your-online-marketing-efforts Unless you’ve been living under a rock or been leading a monastic existence, there has been no escaping news about the coronavirus or, as it is officially called, COVID-19. Even in the fields of marketing, both on-ground and online, major tech events had to be canceled and giants such as Uber, Facebook, and Apple have already said that their revenues will likely take a dive because of lowered demand for their products and issues with their supply chain that is all connected to China, where the virus has been said to originate. On the digital marketing front, COVID-19 is seen to have a huge impact on ad revenues. The New York Times stated through news website Axios that for the first quarter of 2020, ad revenues will take a 10% decrease because of “uncertainty and anxiety about the virus.” Industry analysts predict that Google and Facebook will also suffer from ad revenue decreases. Indeed, the fear and uncertainty that is being experienced in the real world are also affecting the ecosystem of the digital world. What digital marketers will have to deal with now is how this crisis will continue to affect the industry in the long run, as there seems to be no end in sight for this health crisis.
The virus has affected retail Whether we’re talking about on-ground brick and mortar stores (that still of course, advertise their businesses through digital marketing) or e-commerce sites, the retail industry has been severely affected by this coronavirus, as their supply chain has been dealt a huge blow. Factories in China have not resumed full operations, which has only aggravated earlier concerns brought about by the tariff policies of the Trump administration that have been enforced since last year. In March, Seattle, which houses operations of REI and Amazon, has also been home to some patients afflicted with the virus. An Amazon employee has been tested positive for COVID19, while REI, one of the US’ largest outdoor equipment retailers, had to close three facilities in the Seattle area after it was discovered that two employees have been in contact with someone that has the virus.
E-commerce has suffered At first, many industry observers thought that since people are opting to stay home instead of going to stores, e-commerce can take advantage of the situation with more people purchasing more through online channels. However, that has not happened since the production of goods has been affected since most factories in China have not gone back to operating in full capacity. Moreover, the logistics and delivery of online orders have also been severely affected. It’s highly likely that goods ordered online will arrive late.
Online marketing Researchers and experts in the field of digital marketing say that if there has been more careful spending by companies of their digital marketing budgets during this time because of the coronavirus scare, any unspent money could most probably be reallocated for the remaining months of the year. However, this is still uncertain as nobody is sure of when this health issue will end. Thus, it is really inevitable that online marketing spending may take a bigger hit if the COVID19 concern worsens. If there is an industry that may continue to thrive precisely because of this crisis, that will be anything connected to home entertainment. People will be more cautious about getting out of their homes, so streaming services, video games, and similar platforms can thrive. Your business may even consider investing a bit on these platforms because there’s a huge growth potential on them.
The online marketing industry is heavily dependent on what's new. Always be ahead of the competition with updates from All Systems Go Marketing. The following post Online Marketing’s Biggest Disruption: Coronavirus was initially published to All Systems Go Marketing Blog from https://www.allsystemsgomarketing.com/digital-marketing/online-marketings-biggest-disruption-coronavirus Throughout the recent but very dynamic history of SEO, there have been different opinions when it comes to the length of content and use of keywords. SEO software that analyzes search results after providing word count information has already been available and was supposed to inform users of the importance of word count. After all, many people still think word count is important. This may be because various correlation studies through the years have revealed that Google tends to award high rankings to web pages of a certain length and that more links are acquired by longer pages. However, correlation studies have not really proven themselves in terms of long-term results. For example, a 2012 study claimed that the best content length that Google can effectively optimize is 1,500 words, which for today’s standards can already be considered a tad too long. Thus, we ask: Are word count and content length still relevant points to consider in SEO for 2020?
What does Google say? Google is one of the major (if not the biggest) players in the SEO industry, so whatever the heads of the organization say is pretty much the law in SEO circles. A recent tweet from Google’s Webmaster Trends Analyst John Mueller downplays the role of word count in better page rankings. Rather than presenting articles or content that ramble or go off-tangent just to reach a certain length or word count, content providers should instead focus on targeted content that visitors and users will find most relevant. Understanding what users are looking for when they type in a search and using these learnings to beef up your content will be appreciated by Google more than putting fluff and overextending explanations just to reach a certain word count.
Should you trust the tools? These days, various SEO sites have page length as one of their default offerings in their auditing tools. However, these features can be deceiving because websites that are really structured to contain other kinds of content like videos, audio files, and pictures, this having few texts, will be flagged as poor because of “low word count.” Some tools will go on and recommend that Google needs to see 1,000 words every page, which should be very challenging for sites that do not really want to be text-heavy. After all, you wouldn’t want to stuff your website with unnecessary text just to fulfill the recommendations of these tools. Thus, we recommend taking the advice of these tools with a grain of salt.
Support for longer content? Two studies related to content length should also be taken into consideration. In 2018, an analysis of digital marketing tool Ahrefs revealed that in the 2 million websites they audited, the best performing ones are not necessarily the ones with the longest content or the ones with the shortest, but those with “median” length of 800 words. On the other hand, a 2016 Dean and BuzzSumo review of 912 million blog posts showed what we may already know: Sites with long-form content attract more backlinks. This means that if you aim for more visits, go for median-length articles, and if you want more backlinks, go for long-form content.

But we should also consider that when it comes to the question of how long content in the page must be to be ranked high, there might not be one precise answer applicable to all websites.
